Some Information About This Workshop:

There is no requirement for prior experience. We will explore this traditional type of wood carving and the various forms of wooden printing blocks.
Examine several different printing blocks from our collection of wooden printing blocks.
Using small blocks, learn the fundamentals of this method and master creating a clean, repeatable print on discarded fabric.
After that, you’ll create and print your personalized piece of fabric. (You can also place an order for custom printing blocks after completion of the workshop.)

We collaborate with family-owned Indian artisans who have been refining their craft for decades, including the Indian block carvers and women spinners, and craft workers, especially for our block printing workshops. We exclusively partner with organizations that practice fair trade, ensuring the environmental and social well-being of rural artisans rather than maximizing profit at their cost. We hope to commemorate the delight of these craftsmen and keep the age-old handicraft alive through our wooden block printing workshop.
